This is my first song using the Poizone. I started with a nice drum loop that had a choppy fill, i then made the synth based upon the minor pentatonic scale of C. I reversed an electronic drum sound to make almost the sound of flapping wings and it really seemed to fit nicely into the beat. I modified the synth sound to have a quick attack and short resonance to portray more of a plucked sound but i also allowed it to be able to be sustained at parts.. Enjoy
That chopping wings sound comes from a fast cutoff. very effective.
ReplyDeleteI think you need to mix this a bit. The volume of the synths is not in balance. I'd also like to hear some low frequencies in here. The tune is crying out for a dubstep treatment.
